What’s New

  1. Attested training data available in the Verified Share API
    1. Attested training data will now be available in the Verified Share API. This will include the training type, institution name, start date, and end date. Previously, only the verified training data was available in the API.
  2. NSC dates of attendance available in the Verified Share API
    1. The NSC dates of attendance are now available in the Verified Share API. These will be included in the education section of the API. Previously, this data was not parsed out from the NSC artifact. Because this is not being backfilled, you will only see the attendance dates for clinicians with NSC artifacts in the Verified Share API from 12/16/2022 and forward. For clinicians who have NSC artifacts before 12/16/2022, please download the NSC artifact to obtain those dates of attendance.
  3. Peer reference titles available in the Verified Share API
    1. The Verified Share API will now pull in the title for peer references. This can be found in a newly created key called "attested.references.occupation_code". Previously, this data was not available in the API.
  4. Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) licensing institutions available in the Verified Share API
    1. The licensing institution for Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) licenses is now available in the Verified Share API. This can be found in the CDS section of the API. Previously, this data was not available in the API but could be found in the data extract.
  5. Board License flag available in the Provider Preview API
    1. Board actions are now available in the Provider Preview API through FSMB data. This will be included in the state licenses object in a newly created key called "board_action" that will be either "True" or "False".
  6. Verified Share API includes richer FSMB data set
    1. The Verified Share API will now include a richer data set for FSMB data. This will include education, state, and state board action information. This data will be stored in the API under a new section called "fsmb" that will house all of this information for our clients to ingest.
  7. Updates to Verified Share API error messages
    1. The Verified Share API error message now includes details to specify more information about the error. Previously, no details were available when an error message surfaced for an API call.
  8. The Provider Registration API will support passing a list of eCards in a new section of the API called life_support
    1. As a part of supporting life support credentials, the Provider Registration API will support passing a list of AHA eCards into the API. This will allow for verification of AHA certifications with support for others in the future.
  9. The Verified Share API will include life support credentials
    1. As a part of supporting life support credentials, the Verified Share API will soon include a list of AHA eCards (including BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and NIHSS) in the API. This will allow for verification of AHA certifications with support for others in the future.
