What’s New

  1. Accept School NSC Codes in the Provider API
    1. The Provider Registration API will now be able to accept National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) codes so that a corresponding NSC verification can be triggered for the registered clinician. This will support NSC education verification for unengaged clinicians. The provider registration API accepts an optional university transcript_object in the API that matches the self_attested object.
  2. Make the board certification field optional for CRNAs, NPs, and PAs in the Provider API
    1. The board certification field is now optional for CRNAs, NPs, and PAs. If no board certification is returned from the API call, then these records will not be accepted, however the board certification for that clinician will be set to “None”.
  3. Expose NSC Codes, City, and State via the Verified Share API
    1. NSC school codes, city, and state fields are now available alongside education verifications.
  4. Expose FSMB State Licensure Data via the Verified Share API
    1. The Verified Share API will now allow the professional_ids section of the response to return licenses that are found in the FSMB feed even when these have not been verified by the direct to state connectors. Previously, this only included licenses that were verified with state connectors only. This change streamlines how information is queried for each provider and gets a better understanding of each provider regardless of which direct state licensure connectors are supported on our end.
  5. Expose Nursys Data via the Verified Share API
    1. The Verified Share API will now allow the professional_ids section of the response to return nursing licenses that are found in the Nursys feed even when these have not been verified by the direct to state connectors. Previously, this only included nursing licenses that were verified with state connectors only. This change streamlines how information is queried for each nurse and gets a better understanding of each clinician regardless of which direct state licensure connectors are supported on our end.
