It is best to use the Create and Send endpoints for engaged clinicians.

An engaged user is a provider who is actively involved in their wallet set up.

Register Provider

It is best to use the Register Provider endpoint for unengaged clinicians.

What is an unengaged user?

Unengaged/pre-populated clinicians are either those that have no engagement with their wallet or the staff wants to pre-populate an existing providers wallet with data they have to streamline the provider wallet experience.
